Hotel FAQ

  • Can I request a specific hotel?

    Yes. Participants are not guaranteed fulfilment of hotel requests unless informed by the festival. Hotel assignments are subject to change.

    Spa Hotel Acqui and Hotel Ariston fill up fast, so it’s best to make these requests as early as possible. Participants must be paid in full and receive written confirmation from a festival staff member to be guaranteed a spot in Spa Hotel Acqui or Hotel Ariston.

    When a hotel fills up, a waiting list will be started.

    Participants with disabilities are prioritized in hotel placement.

    Most unaccompanied minors are placed in Hotel La Meridiana.

  • Which hotel do you recommend?

    All the hotels are very nice. We get requests every year for all 4 of the hotels. It very much depends on personal preference. You can read more about the hotels HERE.

  • May I make a roommate request? My friend is also attending.

    Absolutely, but we prefer to have these as soon as possible.

  • How are roommates put together?

    Applications are considered on a first-come, first serve basis. Normally you will receive an answer within one to two weeks of submitting all application materials.

  • Is the town of Acqui Terme safe?

    When a double/triple room is chosen, roommates are placed according to age, gender, and instrument. In other words, students playing the same instrument are not usually placed together unless by request. A pianist may be placed with a violinist. Then the violinist can practice in the room while the pianist goes away to practice their instrument.

Spa Hotel Acqui - Luxury Option ($TBA supplement)

Hotel Acqui & Wellness Center in Acqui Terme was established in 1923 and proudly belongs to the De Bernardi family. Located in the heart of Acqui Terme, it offers a special atmosphere of Italian hospitality that makes staying there most comfortable and relaxing.

Participants take their meals in Hotel Acqui Restaurant, serving rich buffet breakfasts, tasty lunches and dinners with family recipes and homemade pasta and desserts are made from the best products that bring it to the highest standards of true genuine and healthy Piemontese cuisine.

Exclusively reserved for hotel guests only, their Wellness Center is a quiet, sunny place for aggregation and relaxation that occupies the third and top floor of Hotel Acqui offering participants moments of pure relaxation.

Rooms are equipped with stylish furniture, soundproof windows, bathroom, air conditioning, safe, TV, and Wi-Fi.

Hotel Ariston ($TBA supplement)

Located next to historical center of Acqui Terme, Hotel Ariston, open for over 50 years, is equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, WIFI, parking, and the hotel has an elevator.

Participants staying at Hotel Ariston will have meals at Ristorante Ariston with indoor and outdoor seating. The Piemontese Italian cuisine consists a variety of French-inspired meal combinations for different tastes, such as pastas, salads, and many other meats and Piemontese specialties, inlcuding vegetarian options.

Hotel La Meridiana

Many participants will stay in Hotel La Meridiana. Located in the historical and happening center of Acqui Terme in the Piazza Duomo, La Meridiana was built by Bernardo Vittone in 1755 inside the Seminario Vescovile Maggiore di Acqui Terme. Today these walls, after a meticulous restoration, charm guests who to stay in this place out of time. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a bathroom, and satellite television, and the hotel has WIFI in the lobby, and an elevator.

Participants staying at Hotel Meridiana take meals in their courtyard and inside the restaurant. The Piemontese Italian cuisine consists a variety of French-inspired meal combinations for different tastes, such as pastas, salads, and many other meats and Piemontese specialties, inlcuding vegetarian options.

Hotel Rondó

Hotel Rondó is situated next to one of the largest swimming pools in Europe, the Acqui Terme spa area, and the ruins of Roman acqueducts. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a bathroom and television, WIFI, and the hotel has an elevator.

Participants staying at Hotel Rondó will have meals at Ristorante "Il Pancia" with indoor and outdoor seating. The Piemontese Italian cuisine consists a variety of French-inspired meal combinations for different tastes, such as pastas, salads, and many other meats and Piemontese specialties, including vegetarian options.
