  • FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

InterHarmony is thrilled to have successfully launched the Italy festival in the summer of 2021 and to have continued the tradition of its online festival that was not only a technological feat, but provided an intensive learning experience which included many performance master classes, musical seminars with internationally-renowned musical guests, lessons with famous professors, networking, social music meetings, and cultural learning opportunities. InterHarmony built on this success and launched the first ever online music conservatory, the InterHarmony International School of Music, now in its 2nd year. Travel is opened as of May 2021. If circumstances prevent international travel in 2022, InterHarmony will move the in-person festival online using the experience and infrastructure we have in place.

    music festival students

FAQ for students of Session I or Two in Italy is not possible, and the festival moves online.

    General FAQ

    • No. Application fees are non-refundable.

    • InterHarmony is dedicated to putting on the most exciting online festival and believe the online experience and in-person experience in Italy and Germany all have their unique strengths. That being said, since the online festival participants are not staying for two weeks in beautiful hotels in Europe, eating three meals a day, going on excursions, using their own pianos rather than rental instruments, among many musical expenses, InterHarmony was able to bring the tuition to a much lower rate for the online festival.

Students are encouraged to attend both the online and in-person festivals! The online festival will prepare students for the intensive in-person experience and get them practicing and ready to meet their chamber partners in Europe. Please see the Tuition page for information about Tuition Discounts.
