  • InterHarmony International Music Festival Online 2021

    Session I Online
    June 27-July 9, 2021

    Session I of InterHarmony International Music Festival from June 27-July 31, 2021 will become a fully interactive experience for students and Artist Faculty via Video Conferencing Software. The musical experience will include 3 lessons per week, musical Round-Table Discussion and Seminars taught by some of the best minds in Music Philosophy and History, "The Great Performers", in Performance Topics, and even some topics that has become more relevant for performers lately, Introduction to Recording and Sound Engineering. Students and Artist Faculty will meet for performance master classes, musical lectures, and perform in live-streamed virtual concerts to different parts of the world with after-concert meet-and-greets with audience members. As part of InterHarmony's cross-culture collaboration, keeping the tradition of experiencing the culture of Italy and Germany, students will be able to choose an elective, such as Introduction to Italian and Introduction to German, taught by native speakers. IIMF plans to have even more events during the online session this year. Stay tuned for more announcements. 10% student only tuition discount if paid by March 20, 2021.

  • InterHarmony International Music Festival 2021 in Acqui Terme, Piedmont, Italy

    Session II In-Person Italy
    July 19-31, 2021

    Session II of InterHarmony International Music Festival, from July 19-31, 2021, invites you to study with its internationally renowned Artist Faculty of soloists and chamber musicians for two weeks of string, piano, woodwind, brass, or vocal instruction in the gorgeous European setting of Acqui Terme, Piedmont, Italy. IIMF's piano and string professors bring together decades of pedagogical and performance experience, offering an international outlook with an edge honed in the famous Russian school. The woodwind, brass, and percussion tracks combine unique chamber music opportunities and starring orchestral roles, while the vocalists can specialize in either art song or opera. All students will enjoy a life-changing opportunity to develop their musical abilities, grow artistically, network with fellow musicians, master classes, musical seminars, chamber music, and perform in concert. Through our Outstanding Guest Artist Series, participants will be brought together with some of classical music's brightest lights. Past guests include Guy Braunstein, Nikolaj Znaider, and Alfred Brendel. 10% student only tuition discount if paid by March 20, 2021.

  • InterHarmony International School of Music Presents: Open Master Class Series: Mozart a la Carte

    Mozart à la carte: Performing Mozart’s Divertimento K563 for String Trio with Teri Lazar (violin), Osman Kivrak (viola), and Misha Quint (cello)
    May 13 at 6:00 PM EST

    Written in 1788 for a friend who helped Mozart when he was struggling with debt, Divertimento K563 turned out to be one of the most inventive pieces for string trio. Lazar, Kivrak, and Quint will perform excerpts from the trio and then discuss Mozart and analyze the piece. Grab a drink or aperitif and sit back and listen!

    Designed by the organizers of InterHarmony International Music Festival, InterHarmony International School of Music offers intensive classical music instruction on all instruments in a year-round program, creating the possibility for students to study with the most renowned performers and scholars from around the globe without the trouble of travel.

    Participants of the InterHarmony International School of Music will be automatically accepted to the InterHarmony International Music Festivals in Italy and Germany if they wish to apply. Virtual students will have the opportunity to meet professors in person at the InterHarmony International music festival, where those who studied virtually will study actually. Students of IISM can gain access to masterclasses and workshops provided by the IISM faculty. IIMF invites students to learn more about IIMS's year-round programs.
