She has appeared in major festivals and concert series across both continents, including the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, First Night Charleston, the International Piano Series, the Young Artist Concert Series, Drayton Hall, Los Angeles City College, and Moreno Valley College Concert Series, performing in various venues for diverse international audiences.
A native of South Carolina, Ms. Hudson received the Isabella Mebane Piano Performance Scholarship to pursue her undergraduate performance degree with celebrated Uruguayan pianist Enrique Graf at the College of Charleston. She continued her advanced artistic training in Madrid, Spain, at the Conservatory, where she studied with German-born pianist Uta Weyand. Her artistry has also been profoundly influenced by mentorship and study with Vitalij Margulis (Ukraine), Ilana Vered (Israel), and Oxana Yablonskaya (Russia/Israel), further shaping her musical sensibilities.
Ms. Hudson holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Southern California and maintains an active global presence through performances, teaching, and professional conferences including the World Piano Pedagogy, MTNA, and Focus on Piano Literature conferences. A dedicated and in-demand pedagogue, she teaches fluently in both English and Spanish and has presented master classes, private instruction, and dual-immersion courses internationally. She is a member of the California and National Music Teachers Associations, directs her private studio Hudson Conservatory, and serves on the piano faculty at the Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles.
An advocate for artistic collaboration across borders, Ms. Hudson is the founder of the Mt. Olive Concert Series in Pasadena and Artistic Director of the Melos Music Chamber Ensemble, fostering performances that connect global traditions and contemporary voices. Her debut solo album, Balancing Darkness and Light, was recently released and is available online and through Canterbury Records. She is currently thrilled to be a member of the piano faculty of InterHarmony International Music Festival where her students participate in an elite international program, reflecting her ongoing commitment to cultivating the next generation of globally minded artists.
