    Dr. Catherine H. Lim is an accomplished performer, highly sought-after educator, and dedicated mentor shaping the next generation of pianists.

    Dr. Lim currently serves as a dedicated piano faculty member at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where she guides students in advanced musical studies. Furthermore, she directs a thriving private piano studio in Centreville, VA, where her commitment to pedagogical excellence yields exceptional results. Her students consistently achieve acclaim, earning top prizes in numerous local, national, and international competitions and festivals.

    A versatile artist, Dr. Lim has presented numerous solo and chamber recitals across the globe, including performances in Korea, throughout the U.S. (Maryland, Virginia, New York, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, Tennessee), Bulgaria, and Italy. She has been a featured soloist with distinguished ensembles, notably the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra in Portugal, the CUA Symphony Orchestra, and the Perugia Symphony Orchestra. Her own performance excellence is validated by top prizes in prestigious competitions such as the Korea National Student Competition, the Korea Music Association Competition, and the CUA Concerto Competition.
