Natalie Fritz, French horn
Natalie Fritz is a contracted part-time musician with the North Carolina Symphony and an active freelancer in the Raleigh area, where she is principal horn of the Carolina Ballet and NC Opera orchestras. Since 2017, she has been Professor of Horn at UNC Chapel Hill. Natalie has performed with the Detroit Symphony, the Nashville Symphony, the Grand Rapids Symphony, the Music in the Mountains Orchestra in Durango, CO, and has been a featured soloist with the Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings. This past summer, she played at the Cabrillo Festival, a new music festival in Santa Cruz, CA. Most recently, Natalie attended Rice University in Houston, TX, where she was a student of William VerMeulen. She holds degrees from Vanderbilt University, the University of Michigan, and Rice University.
