TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION TO THE FESTIVAL:
every applicant must submit an application, a tape exhibiting
their level of playing, and the non-refundable application fee of
$60 USD. The application will be processed immediately. You are then
required to make a $200 USD deposit by April 16, 2008, to reserve
a place on acceptance to the festival. The remaining fees are due by May 20, 2008.
TAPE REQUIREMENTS:
- It should be made on the instrument for which you are applying.
- it should contain two contrasting pieces.
- it should be no longer than 30 minutes.
THE DEADLINE for submitting your application is: April 1, 2008 May 20, 2008.
If you miss the April 1 May 20 deadline: the late application fee is $75 USD.
CANCELLATION FEES:
Cancellation fees may apply, depending on cancellation date.
Fees will not be refundable after May 10, 2008.
OTHER RULES/REQUIREMENTS:
- In case of a teacher's unavailability, the Festival reserves the right to re-assign students to a different teacher.
- The festival will not be responsible for individual Medical coverage and expenses or for the supervision of students.
- Students must submit proof of health insurance.
- A parent or guardian must accompany students under 18 years of age.
- Students are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.
- Not all students will be assigned to the orchestra. The festival will be making the assignment decisions.
